While enjoying a Sunday afternoon on the Dead River, another portion of the Chain of Lakes, Jane spotted these two ladies boating. She had no camera and no paper, yet was so inspired by this scene that she sketched this image in her checkbook and went immediately to paint this piece in her studio.
